eBay Fees and eBay Stores

eBay Fees and eBay Stores

eBay fees are the charges that you pay to list and sell your item on eBay. The basic eBay fees are insertion fees, final value fees and optional feature fees. Fees for eBay Stores are different and often lower than standard eBay fees.

Each eBay Store Package has a different monthly subscription fee, Fixed Price insertion and final value fees. In general, the higher the Store level, the lower the insertion and final value fees, though there are exceptions by category and for Auction listings.

Subscription renewals

Your monthly eBay Stores subscription is automatically renewed each month until you cancel it. Such automatic renewal is continuous, and you’ll be billed for each continuous subscription term at the applicable rates, which are subject to change.

How to close an eBay Store

Cancelling your eBay store subscription

There’s no fee for cancelling a monthly eBay store subscription, although you will be billed the eBay subscription fee for either the mandatory subscription period (if you’ve only recently subscribed), or the entire calendar month during which you cancel.

When cancelling your eBay Stores subscription:

  • If you cancel your eBay Store during the mandatory subscription period (i.e. before the end of the first full calendar month after you signed up):
    • You’re billed the current eBay Stores subscription fees for the mandatory subscription period.
    • You receive the current eBay Stores subscription benefits for the mandatory subscription period.
    • After the mandatory subscription period, you pay standard fees for any new listings.
  • If you cancel your eBay Store after the mandatory subscription period (i.e. after the end of the first full calendar month after you signed up):
    • You’re billed the current eBay Stores subscription fees for the entire calendar month during which you cancel.
    • You receive eBay Stores benefits corresponding to the current subscription until the end of the calendar month during which you cancel.
    • Starting the next calendar month, you pay standard fees for any new listings.

eBay fees for listings are based on the terms in effect when the listing goes live and when it renews.
