Each original, large scale artwork piece has been replicated on a limited release VEGEMITE jar, available for purchase from September. Each art piece is for sale and offers a chance to secure a slice of VEGEMITE history.

  1. The placement of a bid in this Vegemite 95 Years Charity Auction (Auction) is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and the eBay terms and conditions.
  2. Participation in the Auction is only open to residents of Australia over the age of 18.
  3. This Auction listing may be restricted to pre-approved bidders only. Bidder prequalification is a security verification measure given the high profile nature of this auction to protect the Charity from non-genuine bidding.
  4. Bidder prequalification requires bidders to complete the application form available at https://www.bidforgood.com.au/vegemite and to pay a deposit of AU$50.00, via PayPal, in order to qualify to bid in the Auction. The deposit will be deducted by PayPal and held for the duration of the Auction period. After the Auction has closed, the deposit that was paid by each non-winning Auction bidder will be released to that bidder. The deposit that was paid by the winning Auction bidder will be released once the winning bidder’s payment has cleared.

  8. The measurements of the Sale Item are approximate. Due to variances in screen resolutions, devices and screens, the colours of the Sale Item may vary from the image in this listing.
  9. The Auction period commences on 6 September 2018 at 8.00pm (AEST) until 16 September 2018 at 8.00pm (AEST), or such other time as described in the eBay listing unless cancelled pursuant to these Terms and Conditions. The bidder who places the highest valid bid for the Sale Item will be the winning bidder (Buyer).
  10. The Promoter's decision regarding any aspect of this Auction is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  11. By placing a bid, each bidder warrants and represents that:
    1. they have read and understand these Terms and Conditions and the eBay terms and conditions;
    2. they have sufficient funds to purchase the Sale Item at the highest price that the bidder bids;
    3. their bid is genuine;
    4. they are authorised to enter into this transaction to buy the Sale Item if the bidder is the winning bidder; and
    5. they have not relied on any representation made by Bid for Good or the Promoter, other than as made in this eBay listing.
  12. The Promoter acting in good faith, reserves the right not to accept bids from any bidder or to reject a previously approved bid, such as, if the Promoter believes that a breach of these Terms and Conditions has occurred.
  13. The Promoter may, at any time, at its reasonable discretion, request further information from bidders, including information regarding the bidder’s ability to make a payment or the bidder’s identity or location.
  14. The Promoter will not be responsible for any bid not processed due to technical problems or delays.
  15. If the Sale Item becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter's control, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel the Auction before the Auction is complete.
  16. At the conclusion of the Auction period, the Promoter will notify the Buyer that they are the winning bidder for the Sale Item and will provide payment instructions to the Buyer.
  17. The Buyer must make payment for the Sale Item by PayPal or Direct Bank Deposit, to an account nominated by the Promoter, within three (3) business days of the Auction. If the Buyer does not make full payment to the Promoter within this period, to the extent permitted by law, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel the uncompleted contract with the Buyer and recommence the Auction or engage in discussion with the second highest bidder at the Auction.
  18. Once payment has cleared the Promoter will dispatch the Sale Item, to the Buyer, by courier, within 5-7 business days to the address provided by the Buyer at the time of registering for the Auction.  The Promoter usually uses the courier company, Pack & Send.   19. This is a charity auction. All proceeds from this Auction (net of operating, delivery and PayPal fees (if relevant)) will be donated to Polished Man, a project by Y-Gap (Y-Generation Against Poverty) Ltd ABN 49133193129 (the “Charity”) to be applied for charitable purposes. The Charity is a registered charity in the State of NSW and holds a charitable fundraising licence in this State.
